Abdulmumuni Aliyu, 34, Jubrinsha Aba, 35, and Salihu Usman, 24, all from Ekpa village in Mokwa, Niger State, were arrested last week Thursday, while trying to sell it to an undercover agent of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
One of the suspects, Salihu Usman, said that it was during a hunting expedition with Jubrinsha Aba, that they discovered a decomposing body of a woman in the bush. He said that both of them decided to cut off the head and sell it to to scientists and make money.
